Privacy and your data

Plainly: what Sigma keeps, who can see it and how to get rid of it.

  • Your logs are yours

    Sigma does not sell your data and does not share it with insurers, employers or advertisers.

  • Only you see your picture

    Nobody at Sigma browses your entries. Support can only see your account if you ask them to.

  • Take it with you

    Export everything you have logged as a plain file, whenever you want, at no cost.

  • Delete means delete

    Deleting your account removes your logs. Nothing is kept behind for analytics.

What Sigma stores

  • Entries you create: drinks, check-ins, medicines, supplements and lab numbers.
  • The summaries Sigma generates from those entries.
  • Basic account details so you can sign back in.

Sigma's direct-to-consumer app is a wellness product. It is not HIPAA certified and Sigma does not claim to be. A separate provider partnership product, with its own contracts and controls, would be the only place HIPAA obligations apply. Sigma does not send anything to your clinician unless you export it and share it yourself.

Tracking, advertising and sharing

  • No advertising pixels anywhere in Sigma.
  • No retargeting or audience building from anything health-related.
  • No session replay on any screen where you enter health information.
  • No health values are sent to product analytics — only whether a screen worked.
  • Sigma does not sell health data, and never shares it for targeted advertising.
  • Consent choices are unbundled, equally easy to decline, and reversible at any time.

Signed in, you can see everything Sigma holds, export it, delete single entries, change any consent and make a formal privacy request.
